Before you start, remove rings, watches and any other
metal
pieces on your person that might scratch the vehicle. |

|
Always wash from the top down (wheels
last) and
have a separate
rinse bucket to remove loose
contaminants from your wash
sponge before dipping it
back into the wash bucket, to
prevent scratching. |
|
When applying the Leather & Vinyl Treatment to your
seats and motorcycle tires, buff with a fresh cloth 5 minutes
after application to avoid any slipperiness. |
|
For Motorcycles – use a lift when performing
maintenance, if you can. This will raise it off the ground
and allow the wheels to turn, making the process much
easier by giving access to more parts of the bike, while
providing more stability. |
|
Never use household soaps or cleaners on your
vehicle. Over time they can seriously damage vehicle
surfaces by stripping off the protective finishes, corroding
aluminum, and eventually drying out paint. |
|
All detailing operations should be performed out
of direct sunlight for best results, and all surfaces
must be cool when cleaning and/or polishing. |
|
Before you polish, your vehicle must be clean (free
from dust and dirt), and dry. |
|
When parking your vehicle, if possible, choose a
shady spot away from underneath trees, bird perches, or
dust prone roads. For storage, if you park in a garage,
avoid sources of
ozone (such as appliances with electric
motors), which damage rubber. |
